Hush Puppies Vs Korenesh
Hush Puppies batted first and were off to a rocky start, losing opener Usman Mazhar at an early stage after he scored 10 runs. His partner Mian Sharif wasn’t able to hold the team together and went down after scoring 7 runs. However, Owais Gulzar and Asif Hayat played a beautiful innings and strengthened the grounds for their team. They both scored 37 and 36 runs respectively. We saw yet another brilliant partnership which added more runs was carried by Daniyal and Asad Arshad who scored 45 runs in total. Ali Kashif and Tahir Amin were the pick of the bowlers, picking up 3 and 2 wickets respectively. Hush Puppies batsmen were contained to a total of 158 runs in 20 overs.
It was a stable chase for Korenesh with openers Anas and Hassan Khalid contributing 15 and 30 runs respectively. With a modest target on the board, Yasir Shafqat's impressive knock of 40 runs comfortably bought his side closer to victory. Followed by Obaid Gulzar’s 33 runs knock and was unlucky to get injured, else he would have wrapped the game alongside Yasir. Hush Puppies bowlers were unable to pick wickets at key times or restrict the flow of runs. Korenesh chased down the target in 19.1 overs.
