Friends Club batted first and were off to a decent start. Faisal and Amir batted with supreme confidence at top order and scored some crucial runs. Amir were cautious during his innings and scored 28 off 30 balls with 4 fours. While on the other hand, Faisal smashed the ball to all parts of the ground as he scored 23 off 11 balls with 4 fours. After a bright start, the score was propelled forward by Asif, he batted with full control and added 46 off 36 balls and also remained the highest scorer of the innings. He was supported by Raza who scored 18 off 15 balls. But unfortunately for Friends Club the other batsmen could not capitalize on the given platform and they stumbled. The bowling side also came back strongly and Jhangir led the way with 4 wickets for just 21 runs in his 4 overs. In the end, Friends Club managed to score 140 in their 20 overs.
Markhoors CC in reply, got off to a good start, Rameez and Usman batted well at the start and scored 14 and 19 runs respectively. After a watchful start, the middle order made sure not to throw their wickets away. Humayoon led the way and played a crucial innings in context of the game. He got support from Jhangir who scored 13 off 10 balls. But Humayoon held the innings together and played an important role, he contributed with 42 off 33 balls with 2 fours and 1 six. Another important innings came from Talha who along with Humayoon guided his team to victory. Talha added 27 off 17 balls and remained not out till the end. The target was chased in 19.1 overs at the expense of 4 wickets.
