Super Daddy Cricket Club batted first losing opener Omer Shahid early on in the innings for just 1 run. His partner Shehryar Qadir however held the innings on one end with a much-needed 30 off just 21 balls. The team struggled with the bat, throwing away their wickets, unable to score effectively. Rehan Sheikh and Mannan Khan were the only other two notable contributors with the bat scoring 19 and 30 runs effectively. Israr Ul Haq was the key culprit behind the Daddies massacre with a spell of 5 wickets in 4 overs. Faisal Ghouri also picked up 3 wickets. 7 of the Daddies batsmen were out in single digits and the team was eventually bowled out for 119 runs in 20 overs.
Benitoz Panthers were confident in their chase from the onset.The opening pair defined the outcome of the game with their extraordinary performance. Tabish scored a magnificent 51 runs while Umer Chawala scored 43 runs. With a foundation set, minor contributions by Uzair and Mudassir comfortably got their team over the line.
