M. Ali Sports Vs Bakka Sports
M. Ali Sports batted first and were off to a flying start. Zahid Hussain Khoso scored 32 runs and Naveed scored 13 runs. Both openers played decent innings, and could have scored even bigger runs, but the opposition gave a strong response with their bowling attack right from the start. Salman and Jalal Owais gave a tough time to the batsmen with their lethal spells. Salman picked up 2 wickets, while Jalal Owais was the highest wicket taker with 3 wickets to his name. Umair Ahmed and Jawed Ayub Khan scored 14 runs each, yet again fell victim to the outrageous bowling attack. Basit was the last batsman to score in double figures with his knock of 14 runs. Mubashir was another strong bowler who picked up 2 wickets. The entire team was bowled out at a total of 108 runs.
Bakka Sports did a spectacular job with the ball in the first innings, and were very successful in containing the opposition from setting a huge target. However, they were off to a bumpy start, but that didn’t stop them from chasing their target. Bilal scored 10 runs and lost his wicket. Sharif came in at number four and stood his ground playing a match winning innings. He scored 29 runs followed by Sultan’s knock of 12 runs. Salman and Mubashir made decent contributions with their knock of 16 and 19 runs respectively. Haji was the last man to assist Sharif for victory, and in the 17th over Bakka Sports chased the target and won the match.
