JS Bank batted first and they lost Zulfiqar quite early in the innings just for 4. Tariq and Noman then got together and brought some stability back in the innings. They batted for a while and scored some crucial runs. Tariq scored 36 off 37 balls whereas Noman scored 28 off 24 balls with 3 fours. After them, Fahad and Waqas propelled the score forward, they added some quick runs. Fahad scored 26 off 14 balls whereas Waqas scored 26 off 18 balls. After all those contributions from the middle order batsmen, Taimoor Ali ended the innings on a high for JS Bank as he scored 20 off 12 balls with 2 fours and 1 six. For Nazeer Hussain Gymkhana, Talha and Faisal picked up 2 wickets each and others bowled economically as well. In the end, JS Bank scored 157 in their 20 overs.
Nazeer Hussain Gymkhana in response, got off to a shaky start as they lost quick wickets right at the start. After a terrible start, Hussain and Azam got together and tried to rescue the sinking ship. They brought their side back on the track with their partnership. Hussain played a supportive role and scored 25 off 27 balls whereas Azam was in no mood to let the bowlers dictate terms as he smashed them around and scored 54 off just 34 balls with 2 fours and 1 six. Once both set batsmen were dismissed, the bowlers came back strongly and picked up a few more cheap wickets. Tariq picked up 3 wickets in his spell, followed by Tauqeer who did further damage, taking 2 wickets. Eventually Talha after his 2 wickets batted well in the lower order and scored 30 off just 17 balls to get his side over the line in 19.4 overs.
