Hush Puppies Vs Bawa Defence United
Bawa Defence batted first and were off to a shaky start as they lost an early wicket of Ahmed Waqar who went down after scoring only a single run. Kashif did try to cover the damage and scored 20 runs for his side but lost his wicket to Farhan Iqbal, who was indeed on the top of his game. Farhan along with Habib Vohra, Faisal and Mian Sharif picked up 2 wickets each. Such a strong bowling attack not only dismissed the entire batting order but also contained them from scoring big runs. Rizwan and Shiraz were the only 2 batsmen to have scored in the double figures with their respective knocks of 20 and 14 runs. The team was bowled out in 16.4 overs for a total of 87 runs.
Hush Puupies faced a minor setback as they started off in the second innings, by losing Daniyal for a duck. But no harm came from that but eventually Usman took up the responsibility and played the match winning innings for his team. He kept his wicket intact till the end and scored 52 runs. Daniyal Imran made a decent contribution of 21 runs and in the end it was Owais and Usman who finished the match and chased the score in only 10.2 overs.
