Benitoz Panthers v IAP
Benitoz Panthers batted first losing opener Shezad for just 6 runs. The team however remained undeterred and in incredible form as Hamza Ali Khan and Mohib lead the recovery. They smashed 86 and 84 runs respectively to propel their team to a mammoth target of 229 runs in 20 overs. IAP bowlers were absolutely helpless against the onslaught, unable to pick wickets when required or stop the flow of runs. Aamir Abbas picked up 2 wickets while Nawaz Khan and Kamran Qaiser picked up a wicket each.
With 230 on the board, IAP had their work cut out for them. The team crumbled under pressure, unable to build formidable partnerships. Panthers bowlers gave no room to score, picking up wickets regularly to rattle the opposition. Ahmed Nawaz was the lone fighter in the chase with his knock of 52 runs but received no support on the other end. Aamir Abbas also showed some resistance with his cameo of 28 runs but it simply wasn't enough to chase down the massive target. Faisal Ghouri was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets while Imran Idrees and Qari Bilal also took 2 wickets each. IAP were bowled out for 119 runs in 17 overs.
