Khatri Hawks v Khatri Jaguars (Semi Final)
Khatri Hawks batted first with both openers getting their team off to a solid start. Sikander and Nizar scored 30 and 33 runs respectively to set the foundation for a competitive target. Once the opening pair were dismissed however the team imploded, losing quick wickets, unable to keep the scoreboard ticking effectively. Mahad Ibrahim made quick work of the batting line up picking up 3 wickets. He was further supported by Shoaib Siddiq and Gul E Abbas who also took 2 wickets each. Abdullah Abul Khaliq was the last notable contributor for his side with a fighting knock of 29 runs. Karachi Hawks set a target of 137 runs in 20 overs.
In response Khatri Jaguars lost opener Asad Ibrahim for duck. Irfan Ibrahim was the savior for his side with a match winning knock of 55 runs with little support from his fellow team mates. Jaguars lost wickets in quick succession with no stability to the side. A cameo of 14 and 24 by Gul E Abbas and Ayub Samad eventually pushed the Jaguars over the line. Hawks fighters did well to limit the opposition with Faheel, Shakaib and Shahzaib picking up 2 wickets each. Khatri Jaguars chased down the target in 18.5 overs.
