Strikers CC v Tanishq Gold CC
Strikers CC batted first and struggled with the bat. Losing wickets regularly the team was unable to capitalize on some decent starts and get the scoreboard ticking. Opener Waqar Saleem was the most effective contributor for their side with a knock of 32 runs. Tanishq bowlers did well to limit the opposition, picking wickets when required to add pressure to the batting line up. Hafiz Islahuddin was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets. Abdul Samad Gaba and Yasin Qazi also picked up 2 wickets each. Strikers CC were bowled out for 139 runs in 18.2 overs.
Tanishq Gold CC lost opener Gul Mohammad for 6 runs. The team however pulled out an all round strong performance with Mirza Shoaib and Fahad Jabbar scoring 42 and 60 runs respectively to comfortably seal a victory. Haider Ali Bangash also scored a cameo of 25 runs. Strikers bowlers were ineffective and with a small target to defend were unable to limit the opposition.
