TNN Titans v Unfit Legends
Tnn Titans faced Unfit Legends as part of the 2nd ACM Gold t20 night League at Moin Khan Cricket stadium. TNN Titans won the toss and lost Faizan and Dr Asif Nathani early on and were reeling at 12 for 2. Subsequently, Idrees Amin and Saad Gatta combined in a partnership of 91 runs before Saad was out after having scored 28 runs. Idrees continued his good form and ended at 88 runs off just 45 balls at a strike rate of 196% which included seven fours and four sixes. Yasir Tanveer hit a quick fire 36 runs off 19 balls and Bilal Umer did even better by hitting 42 runs off just 15 balls to propel Titans score to a huge 242 in 20 overs. Despite a strong start by Unfit Legends bowlers, they went wayward giving away 31 extras. For Unfit Legends, Khawaja Atyab picked up 4 wickets while Hasan Naqvi and Asad Bashir got 2 wickets each and Shoaib and Saram took 1 wicket each.
In reply, Unfit Legends batsmen could not score runs freely against some tight bowling by Titans bowlers. Hamza got 36 runs, Jamil 17 runs and Faisal 16 runs as Unfit ended at 121 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in a display of slow batting in the face of a huge total. Unfortunately, aggressive intent was not displayed by Legends batsmen and they never seemed to be in the game to chase down this large total. For Titans, Imran Idrees got 4 wickets for 19 runs and Yousuf Jetpur got 2 wickets.
