Benitoz Panthers v Extras
Benitoz Panthers batted first losing opener Tabish for just 8 runs. The team however did well to recover with Ahmed Arshad leading from the front with a fiery knock of 41 runs. Mudassir Ul Haq also scored 20 runs. After the pair were dismissed however the team imploded with the batting line up throwing away their wickets, unable to keep the scoreboard ticking effectively. Faisal Ghouri and Hamza Ali Khan were the last two notable contributors for their side scoring 21 and 18 runs respectively. Extras bowlers did well to contain the opposition, picking up wickets when required. Hamza Siraj was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets while Asad Bashir, Asad Innayat and Attyab Arshad caused further damage picking up 2 wickets each. Benitoz Panthers were bowled out for 166 in 20 overs.
Extras batsmen were off to a solid start in the chase with Faisal Khawaja, Hamza Khan and Zeeshan Khan scoring cameos in their twenties. Bilal Hayat Khan who has been in top form throughout the tournament added more runs to his column with a very impressive knock of 59 runs. A few quick wickets were taken and the match was neck and neck. Israr Ul Haq picked up 2 wickets while the remaining bowling line up did well to pick wickets and stop the flow of runs. In an unexpected twist of events, Benitoz Panthers limited Extras to 166 runs in 20 overs.
