Warriors CC batted first and were off to a decent start as their openers built a good partnership at the top. Adeel Majid scored 11 off 10 balls whereas Rameez Mehboob scored 22 off 13 balls with 3 fours and 1 six. After the openers, Warriors lost some quick wickets but Adamjee Tai held one end together, he scored 28 off 25 balls and on the other end, wickets kept falling. Shoaib Ibrahim was the pick with 3 wickets just for 19 runs whereas Nasim, Zeeshan and Afzal picked up 2 each. There was some resistance right at the end, as Ahmed Moten scored 30 off 28 which pushed the score to a very modest 132.
ZMCC were not chasing a very big target and they needed someone to bat deep and long to get over the line. Though, there start was not the ideal one as they lost 3 quick wickets at the top without much on the scoreboard. But Danish Moin was not effected with those dismissals, and he did not lose his concentration. He held the innings together and played a very good hand of 78 from just 44 balls with 9 fours and 1 six. He was supported by Asad and Imran, they scored 29 and 21 respectively. After a shaky start, the target was chased down comfortably by ZMCC only in 14.4 overs with 6 wickets in hand.
