Labaik Sports v Aliyabad CC
Labaik Sports Cricket team played against Aliyabad C.C at Eastern Star cricket Ground the 8th Campaigner Trophy final. Labaik batted first losing opener Khurram Ahmed for duck. Captain Zia and Zohaib then stabilized the innings and got 28 and 44 runs respectively. After they were out, Junaid hit a quick fire knock of 31 runs off just 15 balls and his knock included four boundaries at a strike rate of 206% while Shazad got 21 runs as Labaik were all out for 172 runs. For Aliyabad C.C, Raja and Amin starred with the ball picking up 3 wickets each while Faizullah, Nizmauddien and Rehan got 1 wicket each.
Aliyabad C.C in reply started off in stable fashion but lost opener Imran after he had scored 10 runs. Humair with 32 runs, Amin with 16 runs and Hussain with 30 runs showed some resistance but lost their wicket at crucial junctures of the match. The subsequent batsmen could not score freely and only Nizmauddien got 19 runs. Aliyabad C.C were restricted to 132 runs for the loss of 8 wickets at the end of the innings. Labaik Sports bowlers shined with the ball with Imran leading the attack, picking up 3 wickets while Gohar took 2 wickets and Shazad, Ilyas and A Wahid took a wicket each.
Labaik Sports won by 40 runs and took home the cup.
