Alliance Sports v Warriors CC
Alliance Sports played Warriors CC at Aga Khan Gymkhana Ground as part of te Alliance Sports League. Alliance batted first and were off to a good start as Saad contributed 21 runs off 10 balls and Muzammil got 19 runs off 13 balls. After their dismissal, Idrees Durrani stepped up scoring 35 runs off 33 balls along with Hasan whose cameo of 27 propelled their side's total. Faisal Ghouri's surge of 28 runs off 19 balls boosted Alliance to 167 for 8 in 20 overs. For Warriors, Shahzaib and Ahmed struck with the ball taking 2 wickets each while Adeel and Zain got a wicket each .
The reply from Warriors CC was dismal as Rameez went for 10 and Adeel Majeed was dismissed without scoring. While Faisal Butt with 21 runs and Ahmed Moten with 54 runs put up resistance, none of the other batsmen could reach double figures as Warriors were all out for just 118 runs. For Alliance Sports, Israr ul Haq took 4 wickets for just 11 runs while Imran followed with 3 wickets and Ahsan picked up 2 wickets.
Alliance Sports won by 49 runs.
