ZMCC VS Karachi Star
ZMCC played against Karachi Star at Asifabad cricket ground. ZMCC batted first and Sohail Fazal got them off to a good start with 65 runs off just 39 balls while Afzal Qureshi scored 45 runs off 36 balls. A quick fire 44 runs off 18 balls by Ali Bantwa at a strike rate of 244% ensured that ZMCC ended at 181 for 4 in 20 overs. For Karachi Star, Daniyal took 2 wickets and Saad and Ahmed picked up a wicket each.
In reply, Karachi Star had a steady start as Farhad and Taha contributed 24 and 23 runs respectively. Mohsin also scored 23 runs and Fahim got 15 runs but none of the top order batsmen could convert good starts into a big innings and lost their wickets at critical junctures of the game. Anas with 17 and Saad with 19 runs also tried to get their team home but in the end were disappointed as their team ended at 139 for 7 in 20 overs. For ZMCC, Zeeshan was the lead wicket taker with 3 wickets, A Hadi got 2 wickets and Danish and Afzal took a wicket each.
