Ten Pearls Vs TRG
6th Corporate Challengers Cup
Ten Pearls batted first and they lost Ajdal Aziz quite early for a duck and it was a hard start for them but they recovered astonishingly well on the back of Faiz and Sheraz. Faiz Ul Haq played a supportive role and scored 39 off just 34 balls but Sheraz scored a great century. He scored 101 off just 54 balls at a brilliant strike rate off 187 with 6 fours and 8 sixes to put his side on top. He gave a great platform and Taimoor later ended the innings on a high as he scored 27 off just 20 balls. In the end, Ten Pearls scored 193 in their 20 overs. Zeeshan picked up 4 wickets and was the most notable contributor with the ball.
TRG was chasing a big score and to get over the line they wanted someone to play a blinder just like Sheraz did in the first innings and Arsal Ali fulfilled their wish. It was an even better innings and it completely over shadowed the innings of Sheraz. Arsal batted at a strike rate of 217 and scored exactly 100 runs with 12 fours and 3 sixes. Sabih Ahmed supported him well and scored 53 off just 38 balls with 4 fours and 1 six. The partnership between the two completely shut the doors for Ten Pearls to come back in the game and TRG prevailed in this high scoring fixture. They chased down the target in just 17 overs.
TRG won by 6 wickets.
