Gulshan Noor batted first and were off to a brilliant start. Rehan and Azam the opening batsmen were in flawless touch and scored heavily in the initial overs. Rehan scored 55 off just 40 balls with 7 fours whereas Azam scored 46 off 39 balls with 2 fours and 1 six. It was a dream start for Gulshan Noor, after the openers, middle order propelled the score forward Ali and Asad scored 24 and 12 respectively whereas Afzal scored 17 off just 9 to end the innings on a positive note. The bowlers were expensive at the start but at backend of the innings they bowled well, Barkat Ali was the pick as he picked up 2 for 27. In the end, Gulshan Noor scored 178 in their 20 overs.
Aga Khan Veterans started off poorly as they lost two early wickets but they were back in the game big time when Afzal came in the middle and swung the match in favor of his side with his fine hitting. Afzal was supported by Sabir who scored 31 off 24 and Sameer who scored 16 off 15 but the show revolved around Afzal in most part of the innings. Afzal scored a brilliant 83 off just 46 balls with 9 fours and 3 sixes and the bowlers were clueless against him. In the end, Aga Khan Veterans chased the target down only in 16.2 overs at the expense of 3 wickets.
