The Pink Caps v Defence XI CC
The Pink Caps batted first but had a rough day out. The team struggled throughout their innings, getting off to some decent starts but unable to build on the foundations set. After losing opener Shehzad for just 3 runs, Nasir, Aurangzaib, Zain and Kashif tried to steer the momentum in their favor. They each contributed cameos but could not take their side any further. Defence XI bowlers did very well to pull the opposition back with each bowler chipping in. The Pink Caps ended at 113 for 5 in 20 overs.
In response Defence XI lost opener Yasir for duck but did not face any trouble at all after that. Aatif Memon and Zia took over with knocks of 65 and 49 to comfortably lead their side to victory in 18 overs. Munsit was the lone wicket taker.
Defence XI CC won by 9 wickets.
