Al Burhan v Bavan CC
Al Burhan played against Bavan CC at Al Nadil Ground. Al Burhan batted first and Abbas got them off to a good start with 36 runs off 21 balls which included 5 boundaries and a six. He was assisted by Moeez who contributed 24 runs off 27 balls. However, the subsequent batsmen could not get to double figures except for Ali Asghar who got a determined 42 runs to get his team to 152 runs at the end of their innings. The innings ended with the whole team being out for just 133 runs as Al Burhan bowlers bowled good line and length and took wickets at crucial intervals. For Al Burhan, M.Turab and Moeez took 3 wickets each and Shabbir and Ali got 2 wickets each.
