Khatri Fighters v Unity Star XI
Khatri Fighters and Unity Star XI faced each other at New Navy ground. Fighters batted first and opener Nizar Ilyas got them off to a good start with 40 runs off 37 balls while Saqib got 13 runs off 14 balls. The rest of the batsmen however struggled against some good bowling and only Mustajab got 15 runs and Osama 14 runs as the whole team was out for just 113 runs. For Unity Star XI, Hammad was pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets for just 28 runs while Saeed got 2 wickets and Saif and Wahab got a wicket each and there were 2 run outs.
In reply, Unity Star XI had some hiccups as openers Saif and Amir were dismissed early. While the other batsmen fell apart, Hammad was batting in a different zone altogether as he knocked 86 runs off 43 deliveries at a strike rate of 200% and hit 14 boundaries and 2 sixes as his team won the match for the loss of 5 wickets with 3 overs to spare. For Fighters, Gul e Abbas, Danish and Aasim got a wicket each.
