Aimmz Trading v Karachi Star
Aimmz Trading played against Karachi Star at RLCA Cricket ground as part of the FC Challengers Cup. Aimmz batted first and an exquisite display of shots ensued from Saad Saleem as he hit 47 runs off 30 balls at a strike rate of 156%. Abdur Rehman further propelled their total with 37 not out off 20 balls in which he hit 2 sixes and 2 fours. Lower down the order Adnan got 14 and Haris and Bilal got 12 each as Aimmz Trading ended at 165 for 9 in 20 overs. For Karachi Star, was the key wicket taker with 3 scalps, giving his team the breakthroughs when required while Taha, Talha, Daniyal and Saad took 1 wicket each.
In reply, Karachi Star openers started off well but lost wickets at important intervals as Zubair was dismissed after scoring 21 runs and Ahmed on 20. The subsequent batsmen struggled to get big scores and capitalize on the foundation set with only Abdullah and Anas knocking 14 runs each while Talha got 10 runs but Karachi Star were all out for just 120 runs. Tauqeer Rafiq was the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets for 16 runs while Sheikh Rafay took 2 wickets and Haris, Hammad , Adnan and Waseem got a wicket each.
Aimmz Trading won by 45 runs.
