Shan XI v Shadab Sports
SHAN XI played against Shadab Sports at RLCA Cricket ground. Shan XI batted first and while wickets kept tumbling at the other end, Kamran Ibrahim was in a different league altogether as he continued to pound the ball to all parts of the park and got 86 runs off just 50 balls and hit 7 boundaries and 5 sixes at a strike rate of 172%. Mahmood Ali with 37 and Akhtar with 10 provided some support as Shan XI ended at a competitive 177 for 8 in 20 overs. For Shadab Sports, Rafay and Zeeshan took 2 wickets each while Talha, Umer and Ahsan picked up a wicket each.
In reply, Shadab Sports lost the early wickets of Osama, Daniyal, Talha and Danish. Only Umer with 33 and Rehan with 26 put up some resistance but the subsequent batsmen could not cope with the bowling of Shan XI and lost their wickets in quick succession. Umair with 24 fought back but Shadab Sports was all out for 134 runs. For Shan XI , Shafiq starred picking up 3 wickets while Mahmood and Akhtar took 2 wickets each and Fahad, Hamza and Ahmed got a wicket each.
Shan XI won by 43 runs.
