Acme Technologies Defeat ASPA

ASPA faced Acme Technologies in Group B of the 3rd KK Ramzan Super Sixes being contested under lights at the UBL Sports Complex.

Acme Technologies won the toss and elected to bat first. Opener Gulfam continued where he left off in the last match, scoring a blistering 33 runs in just 10 balls at an astounding strike rate of 330! His innings witnessed 3 boundaries and 3 maximums, much to the delight of the audience. Youngster Ammar Iqbal supported his team’s opener, scoring 14 runs at a strike rate of 200 with 2 fours. ASPA bowlers were weak against the opposition, unable to pick wickets when required or stop the flow of runs with only 1 run out. Acme ended their 5 overs at a competitive score of 70 runs, looking for their second consective win of the tournamnent.

ASPA started their chase with opener Farooq returning to the pavilion early. However Aziz and Arsalan tried their best to score freely with the aim of successfully chasing down the target set for them knocking around 13 and 16 runs respectively with 2 fours and a six. But ASPA needed a fiery cameo and were unable to find the match winner in their side. Danish Ali Khan was the sole wicket taker for Acme Technologies, taking 1 wicket for 10 runs in his spell. ASPA ended at 57 for 2 in 5 overs.

Acme Technologies won the match by 13 runs.
