Karachi Stars went head to head against our very own KK Champs at Day 2 of the 3rd KK Ramzan Super Sixes.
KK Champs, after winning the toss, elected to field first, given their strong bowling line-up. Karachi Stars began their innings with explosive opener Talha Ahmedani striking the white ball out of the park in a 12 ball innings of 31 runs that consisted of 3 fours and 2 sixes. Taha Karsaz and Anas Mohuiddin further propelled their side with knocks of 10 runs each. The KK Champs' bowlers did well to try and restrict a formidable opposition with Hassan Mustafa taking 1 wicket for 10 runs. Karachi Stars ended at 67 for 2 in 5 overs.
The KK Champs started their innings with a bang with talented Karachi under 16 all-rounder Jam Zain scoring a breath-taking 33 runs off just 12 balls, at a strike rate of 254, with 4 boundaries and 2 sensational sixes. However the Karachi Star bowlers fought back with Talha Ahmedani taking 1 wicket in his 1 over. Nevertheless, it was Obaid Jafry's day with the bat as he came out to score 16 runs in 6 balls with 4 fours to lead his team to an improbable win.
The KK Champs won by 3 wickets.
