During the 3rd KK Super Sixes, AIMMZ Trading took on the SZABIST University at a match played under lights at the UBL Sports Complex.
AIMMZ Trading, batting first, were off to a cautious start, loosing opener Muneeb Mustafa early for 7 runs. However middle order batsmen Saad Saleem and Adnan Akhtar were there for their team to propel them to a competitive score of 80 runs in 5 overs. Saad scored a quick 13 of 7 balls with 3 fours while Adnan made 28 runs in just 7 balls with 1 four and 4 huge sixes. Salman Dossani was the pick of the bowlers for the SZABIST team picking up a wicket for just 4 runs.
SZABIST began their chase in a blistering manner with opener scoring 18 runs in 11 balls with 2 sixes against his name. However no other batsmen could make any notable contribution and reach double figures. Sheikh Hammad was the only wicket taker for AIMMZ Trading, picking up 1 wicket for 12 runs. At the end of 5 overs, SZABIST could only score 50 runs.
AIMMZ Trading won the match by 30 runs.
