The last match on day 3, of the 3rd KK Super Sixes, was contested between M.S. United and SZABIST University, at the UBL Sports Complex.
Batting first, SZABIST were off to a good start with both openers finding the boundary lines. Hamza Altaf and Syed Shayan Ali scored 24 and 12 runs respectively with 4 fours and 2 sixes between them. However the M.S. United bowlers fought back with Irfan and Taha Farooq taking a wicket each in their overs. SZABIST managed to reach 53 for the loss of 2 wickets in their 5 overs.
M.S. United started their chase is a blistering fashion with opener Sami Ullah coming out all guns blazing to score 34 runs in just 10 balls with 2 fours and 4 huge sixes. Asif Siddiqui supported him as he scored 10 runs with the aid of 2 fours. For the SZABIST team, Ali Shan was the most economical bowler giving just 8 runs in his over. M.S. United chased the target successfully in just 3.2 overs.
M.S. United won the match by 5 wickets.
