In match number 2 of Day 4 of the 3rd KK Super Sixes, OGS faced the Blasters in a match that saw one team dominate throughout and end up deserving winners.
After opting to bat first, OGS were off to a magnificent start with both openers striking the ball cleanly. Shehryar Qadir scored a dazzling 32 runs of 11 balls while Adnan Siddiqui continued his form with a splendid knock of 33 runs in 11 balls. Both batsmen hit 4 fours and 2 sixes each. Talha Faheem ended the OGS innings with a 7 ball cameo of 15 runs with 2 sixes to his name. OGS ended their 5 overs at a huge total of 91 runs with no wickets fallen.
The OGS team continued their momentum in the second inning, displaying some excellent bowling thus preventing their opposition from attacking them. The Blasters never looked comfortable in their chase with no batsmen reaching double figures. For the OGS team, Umer Khan and Tariq Bin Aijaz took 2 wickets each for 16 and 4 runs respectively. The Blasters could score a mere 38 runs only for the loss of 6 wckets.
The OGS won comfortably by 53 runs.
