In the last match on day 4 of the 3rd edition of the KK Super Sixes being contested at the UBL Sports Complex, the Blasters came up against Super Star CC, in a match that saw one team win on the last ball.
Batting first, Super Star CC faced an initial setback when opener Arshad was dismissed without scoring by Saad Khamisani. However Fayyaz and Mahmood stabilized their team with important knocks of 15 and 32 respectively with 6 boundaries and 3 sixes shared between them. However, for the Blasters, Saad Khamisani remained in the spotlight with unbelievable figures of 1 over 0 runs and 4 wickets to restrict their opposition to 58 for 4 in 5 overs.
The Blasters started out their chase in a confident manner with opener Bilal Khan being the main contributor, scoring 30 runs in just 16 balls with 4 fours and 1 six in his innings. However despite the tight bowling by Arshad, who took the only wicket of Abid Aslam, and Farhan Naiz, the Blasters reached their target for the loss of 2 wickets on the last ball of their innings.
The Blasters won the match by 3 wickets.
