On Day 4 of the 3rd KK Super Sixes, Towellers were up against the strong team of OGS, in a match played under lights at the UBL Sports Complex.
Batting first, OGS were off to a slow start losing opener Adnan Siddiqui for just 5 runs. However Talha Faheem came out all guns blazing to score a fantastic 36 runs in just 12 balls with 2 fours and 4 sixes to his name. Ali Haider was the only wicket taker for the Towellers, picking up a wicket for 12 runs in his 1 over. OGS ended their 5 overs at a competitive score of 81 runs with 1 wicket fallen.
Towellers began their chase with opener Shahrukh scoring a blistering 29 runs at a strike rate of 290 with 5 boundaries and 1 six to his name. Ali Haider continued the flow of runs in the middle order with a quick 26 runs in 11 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes. Jasim Talash of OGS was the key bowler, taking 2 wickets for 11 runs in his 1 over. Towellers chased down the target successfully on the last ball of their innings.
