Karachi Boat Club (KBC) v United Energy Pakistan
Karachi Boat Club batted first and were impressive with the bat. Working well as a team, openers Arshad and Sarim got their team off to a decent start with knocks of 24 and a half century respectively. Iqbal then stepped in to further propel his side's total with a blistering 66 that came at a strike rate of 244 leaving United's bowlers helpless. Gul Memon picked up 2 wickets for his side while Saim and Umar took a wicket each. The batting side kept chipping away to eventually set a huge target of 226 in 23 overs.
In response, United Energy Pakistan were well on their way to a comfortable victory with opener Shoaib Sattar teaming up with 1 down Umer Ghazi to set the foundation. Their scores of 36 and 65 were promising but once the duo were dismissed none of the subsequent batsmen were able to capitalize further. Shah Qureshi was the key wicket taker for his side with 5 wickets which rattled the opposition. Ahsan, Arshad and Arham also took a wicket each to limit United Energy Pakistan to just 169.
Karachi Boat Club won by 57 runs.
