Tnn Titans won the toss against Benitoz Panthers and decided to bat first at RLCA Gulberg in an important match of the Memon Super League Season 2. While Sabih Merchant was dismissed early, Bilal Omer and Amir Majeed had a good partnership of 58 runs before Amir Majeed was out after having scored 24 runs off 12 balls. Bilal scored 34 runs while Talha Faheem hit 37 quick runs off 28 deliveries and at the end Owais Pasta's 29 runs off 20 balls propelled Titans to 165 for 7 in 20 overs. For Panthers, Zeeshan Fatani and Umer Chawla took 2 wickets each while Ahsan Lakhani and Mohib Ahsan picked up a wicket each.
In reply, Benitoz Panthers lost ace batsman Danish Aziz for just 13 runs but Rameez Mehboob with 40 runs off 26 balls and Sumail Kutchi with 24 runs in 24 balls led the counter attack but both were out at crucial stages in the match. Abdul Samad Ghani with 20 and Ahmed Arshad with 22 brought Panthers close to the target while Umer Chawla then hit 13 runs off 9 balls but unfortunately did not get support from the other end as Mohib, Aamir Motiwala and Ahsan Lakhani were all dismissed cheaply and panthers could only reach a total of 156 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the end. For Titans, 2 wickets each were taken by Abdul Samad, Waqar Idrees and Yousuf Jetpur while Umer Khan and Owais Pasta got a wicket each. A good close match and well fought by both teams with Titans emerging as the victors in the end.
