Classic Barbarians and TNN Titans faced each other at Asghar Ali Shah cricket stadium as part of the Memon Super League Season 2 match. Barbarians batted first and were in a spot of bother as Saad Ahmed and Umair Yousuf were out in quick succession. Kamil Mehmood put up some resistance with 33 runs while Shahid Nepal with 13 runs, Ahsan Zafar with 17, Saad Asif with 24 and Hunain Usman with 21 runs contributed to the cause. Eventually a late surge of 17 off 11 by Ali Bantwa helped Classic Barbarians post a decent 146 for the loss of 8 wickets in their allocated 20 overs. Abdul Samad and Umer khan took 2 wickets each for Titans while Shaaz and Waqar got a wicket each.
In reply, Titans lost Amir Majeed and Shaaz Shajani early but Bilal Umer played a fantastic knock of 52 runs at a strike rate of 173% while Talha Faheem backed him up with 53 runs at a strike rate of 156%. Captain Owais Pasta wrapped it up with 28 runs to ensure Titans reached home in the 19th over for the loss of just 3 wickets. For Barbarians, Saad, Hunain and Salman got a wicket each.
