Wintex Strikers and Benitoz Panthers played a Memon Super league Season 2 match at IBA Cricket ground. Wintex won the toss and fielded first. Rameez Mehboob was in his element as he hit an aggressive 57 off just 29 deliveries and Sumail Aziz with 28 runs and Aamir Motiwala with 18 runs furthered the cause for their team. A late inning blitz by Mohib Ahsan of 33 runs off just 11 deliveries at a strike rate of 300% propelled Panthers to 175 for the loss of 5 wickets at the end of 20 overs. For Strikers, Kamran Butt got 2 wickets while Adeel Abbasi, Faisal Butt and Abdur Rehman took a wicket each.
In reply, Strikers had a disastrous start as Abdur Rehman was out for duck on the first ball of their innings while Faisal Butt followed soon after scoring 13 runs and Mubeen was out for a duck. Muhammad Muavia put up some resistance with 54 runs while Usman Yunus Ghani knocked 26 runs and Kamran Butt scored 27 runs but their efforts were not enough to help Strikers cross the finish line as they ended at 157 all out. For Panthers, Hamza Qadir took 4 wickets while Zeeshan Fatani got 2 wickets and Mohib, Ahmed and Danish got a wicket each.
Benitoz Panthers won by 18 runs.
