Super Daddy CC batted first against Haseen Habib this past Saturday and what a show they put on! Opener Rehan Shaikh was in prime form with his knock of 46 followed by Nadir Akber who knocked an impressive 39 but it was really Adeel Mansha who shined. Adeel's 64 not out innings included 7 boundaries setting the Daddies up to post a competitive target. Haseen Habib bowlers were unable to steer the momentum in their favor, picking wickets but unable to stop the flow of runs. Amin lead the attack with 2 wickets followed by Shoaib, Arshad, Akbar, Atif and Ikram who picked up a wicket each. Super Daddy CC ended at 194 for 7 in 22 overs.
In response Haseen Habib lost opener Fawad Bari for just 1 run. The innings then stabilized with responsible Touseef Khan's 55 off 43 partnered with Zohaib's knock of 25 but the team lost their way after that. They lost a few quick wickets before a late surge of 34 by Amin tried to revive the chase but it was too little too late. The Daddies bowlers did well to limit the opposition with Zohaib Bhatti picking up 2 wickets for his side. Shahram Rasool, Ali Mufti, Adil Nawaz and Shehzad Meher also chipped in with a wicket each. Haseen Habib were limited to 176 for 7 in 22 overs.
