Shabab Whites went head to head against Bohra CC in an important qualifier determining which team would make it through. Shabab Whites batted first and put up a strong front with openers Huzaifa Hassan and Muntasir scoring 23 and 16 to put runs on the board. Once the pair were dismissed Mustafa and Hasnain carried the momentum forward with cameos of 22 and 16 but the team stumbled thereon. They lost quick wickets before a late surge by Hussain Youshe changed the game around. His fiery 45 came at a strike rate of 176 including 2 sixes to propel Shabab Whites to 150 for 7 in 20 overs. For Bohra CC Huzaifa Mandvi in particular was exceptional with the ball, picking up 3 key wickets.
In response Bohra CC were off on the chase in similar fashion but stumbled after losing their openers Idrees and Adnan for 24 and 14 respectively. Thereafter a determined Huzaifa Mandvi built a partnership with Ibrahim scoring 32 and 19 but none of the batsmen were able to capitalize on a decent start. Abbas Gohar was outstanding in his spell picking up 4 wickets while Shabbir and Hussain chipped in with 2 wickets each and Sitamu took 1 wicket. Bohra CC batsmen fell in quick succession thereafter crumbling for 116 in 19.5 overs.
Shabab Whites won by 34 runs.
