Aga Khan Veterans batted first against Inovians at Aga Khan Gymkhana with openers Akbar and Asif leading from the front. Akbar smashed an impressive 60 off 48 with Asif chipping in 28 to set the foundation for their team. However once the pair were dismissed, the top order struggled against the Inovians bowlers who did well to pull their side back in the game, picking up wickets in regular intervals. The team lost 3 quick wickets before Anees Roshan Ali scored 24 runs to boost Aga Khan Veterans to a competitive 151 for 7 in 20 overs. Talha Khan and Zeeshan took 2 wickets each while Talha Aslam and Abdullah picked up a wicket each.
In response, Inovians struggled in their chase from the get go. After losing opener Talha Khan for 9, things did not get any easier as the team continued to lose wickets. Only 3 of their batsmen were able to reach single digits with Talha Aslam and Hassan Ali scoring 18 each and Ahsan with a fighting 33. Aga Khan's bowlers did well to restrict the opposition with Naeem starring in his spell, picking up 4 wickets. Zaheer, Sabir, Sameer, Akber and Altaf also contributed a wicket each. Inovians were limited to 108 for 9 in 20 overs.
