Extras batted first against NBP Academy this past Saturday. Star batsman Atif Ahmed was on fire with a sublime 110 off just 63 balls which included 12 boundaries and 4 sixes. The rest of his team however imploded with only Syed Muttaqi scoring 15 runs. For NBP Academy, Muzamil and Waseem took 2 wickets each. Extras ended at 165 for 4 in 20 overs.
In response, NBP Academy lost opener Abdullah for just 1 run. However one down Gul Noor was spectacular in the chase, smashing 90 at a strike rate of 155 to set up a comfortable victory for his side. Later, Zeeshan and Aman chipped in 30 and 14 to see their side home in 17.5 overs. For Extras, Shamoun, Asad and Arsalan took a wicket each.
NBP Academy won by 6 wickets.
