Badshah and Lal Qila CC went head to head as part of the 3rd Big Bash Night League. Batting first, Badshah XI lost opener Maaz Butt but recovered well after that. His partner Irfan Shah and one down Sheikh Ubaid did well to stabilize the innings and propel the score forward with knocks of 46 and 31 respectively. Star player Adnan Khan Niazi then stepped in with a blistering 53 at a strike rate of over 220 to blow away Lal Qila's bowlers and post a competitive 175 for 4 in 20 overs.
In response, Lal Qila lost opener Usman for 6 and then fumbled throughout the innings. Zaiby Ahmed contributed a handy 40 with Abdur Rehman, Azad and Shoaib being the only players to show intent with cameos in their twenties. None of the other batsmen were able to keep their wickets intact with Badshah bowler Faizan taking 3 wickets. Lal Qila were limited to 152 for 9 in 20 overs.
