Sequre XI and Karachi Patriots played a 3rd ACM Gold t20 league match at Aga Khan Hospital ground. Sequre won the toss and elected to bat first and lost openers Haq Nawaz for 13 runs and Khurram Amin for 22 runs. Ibrahim Akhtar with 21 runs and Zahid with 42 runs improved the scoring rate but three quick wickets by Rizwan Merchant stemmed the run flow and Sequre ended at 145 for 8 in 20 overs. For Patriots, Rizwan merchant got 3 wickets, Adeel Abbasi took 2 wickets and Ghazanfar Richie and Sameer Ahmedani picked up a wicket each.
In reply, Faisal Butt was out after scoring 18 runs and Atif Ahmed after having scored 7 runs. Aamir Noor with 41 runs played an anchor role while wickets kept falling at the other end with the run rate climbing but Adeel Abbasi played a spectacular knock which was the need of the hour as he scored a quick fire 62 runs off 26 deliveries at a strike rate of 238% and his innings included 7 boundaries and 4 sixes. Patriots won with 2 overs to spare due to this aggressive knock . For Sequre, Iqbal took 2 wickets while Shahid and Abdullah got a wicket each
Karachi Patriots won by 6 wickets.
