Super Daddy CC have won all 4 of their matches at the 3rd ACM Gold t20 Day League so far! Benitoz Panthers batted first against them this past Saturday and had a rough day out. After losing opener Ahmed Arshad for just 2 runs, things did not get any easier! The team struggled to keep their wickets intact, throwing away some decent starts. Mohib Ahsan then stepped up to try and save his side with a much needed 43 run innings that saved the Panthers from a complete implosion. Hamza Ali Khan also chipped in with 25 but the Daddies bowlers were relentless against the opposition, picking up wickets when most needed. Zohaib Bhatti and Ali Mufti took 2 wickets each while the rest of the team kept things tight, not giving anything away. Benitoz Panthers ended at 155 for 9 in 20 overs.
In response, Super Daddy CC's batsmen also fell apart with the exception of the in form and unstoppable Abid Malik. He held the innings on one end with a match winning knock of 59 runs while the rest of the batting line up chipped in with cameos, throwing away their wickets before really taking off. Shehzad Meher then swooped in with a valuable 42 not out to guide Super Daddys to the target in 17.3 overs. Benitoz Panthers bowlers Asad Ullah and Umer Khan tried hard with 2 wickets each but were unable to defend their team's total.
