Eagles Sports Club batted first against Aisha Steel at TMC this past Saturday. Openers Mustafa and Danish did well to put runs on the board with scores of 26 and 31 runs respectively. The team however continued to lose wickets throughout the innings, unable to gain stability at any stage. Hamza Iqbal's 23 run knock was the only other notable contribution as Aisha Steel's bowlers did well to restrict the batsmen. Dildar was the key wicket taker with 3 scalps while Faisal also took 2 wickets. Eagles Sports Club ended at 179 for 9 in 20 overs.
In response, an in-form Faisal turned up with the bat as well. He smashed a blistering 60 off just 28 balls to get his team off to a flying start. One down Yaseen also chipped in with 46 runs and despite Saqib picking up 2 wickets, Ashfaq's 26 not out helped Aisha Steel chase down the target in 17.3 overs.
Aisha Steel won by 5 wickets.
