A very exciting match of the 3rd ACM Gold t20 Day League ensued between Super Daddy CC and OGS Daewoo CC at SKBZ cricket ground. SDCC batted first and a 94 run opening partnership took place between Abid Malik and Shehryar Qadir before Shehryar was out after scoring 42 runs. Abid Malik continued to play his shots all over the park and was eventually out for 76 runs. Shahzad and Naeem got 11 runs each and Adeel Mansha got 22 runs as Daddies ended at 194 for 5 in 20 overs. For Daewoo, Tauqeer got 3 wickets and Ahmer and Zain got a wicket each.
In reply, Daewoo CC had an early blow as Asif was out without scoring. However, Fahad with 72 and Ahmer with 33 runs stabilized the innings before Nadir Ansari hit 37 runs off 20 balls and Zain ul Abideen played a cameo of 28 runs off 9 deliveries to take his team home with 3 balls to spare and for the loss of 5 wickets. For Daddies, Shahzad, Andy and Ali Mufti got a wicket each and there were 2 run outs.
Daewoo CC won by 5 wickets.
