The opening match of the Bohra Champions League Season 5 kicked off this Sunday between Bohra CC and Shabab Whites. Bohra CC batted first and struggled to get going with opener Ibrahim being dismissed for duck. Things continued to fall apart for the batting side as Shabab bowlers fired in all the right places. Hussain Aqeel starred in his spell taking 3 wickets while Ali Asghar and Shabbir also took 2 wickets each. Bohra CC's batting crumbled with the exception of Huzaifa Mandvi's fighting 29 off 31 as his side were all out for 115 in 18.3 overs.
In response, Shabab Whites also lost a flurry of quick wickets early on but with a low total to chase, Ali Asghar's 30 and Huzaifa Abbas's 27 were enough to set up a comfortable victory for their side. Bohra bowler Naeem Tayyab took 2 wickets each with the rest of the bowling unit tried hard to contain the opposition. Shabab Whites chased down the target in 18.2 overs.
Shabab Whites won by 4 wickets.
