Benitoz Panthers and Classic Barbarians played at RLCA Cricket ground as part of th Memon Super League season 3 match. Classic won the toss and fielded first and it seemed the right decision as Omair Yousuf dismissed Ali Mehar for 5 runs and Ahmed Arshad for 13 runs. Salman Dossani then dismissed Farhan arif (5 runs), Taha Zindani (7 runs) and Mohib Ahsan (10 runs) and only Umair Ahmed at the other end fought back as he got 48 runs off 46 deliveries but Panthers ended at a low score of 111 runs for 8 wickets at the end of 20 overs. For Barbarians, Salman Dossani took 3 wickets, Omair Yousuf got 2 wickets and Rabish Ahmed and Hamza Qadir picked up a wicket each.
In reply, Classic Barbarians lost star batsman Rabish Ahmed for a duck and Omair Yousuf was also dismissed for just 16 runs. Talha Ahmedani was in fine form as he hit an unbeaten 64 runs off 40 balls and was assisted by Ali Iqbal who knocked 21 runs and Classic reached home in the 12th over and for the loss of just 3 wickets. For Panthers, Suleman Saleem took 2 wickets and Ubaid Umer got a wicket.
Classic Barbarians won by 7 wickets.
