Eagles Crumble Under Pigeons Pressure

Grey Pigeons batted first against White Eagles at the "Clash of Birds" tournament this past Saturday with their openers firing ahead. Ali Rainbow smashed an exquisite 86 off just 46 balls including 10 boundaries and 4 sixes. Hussain Lane provided further support on the other end with a valuable 43, however, once the duo were dismissed the rest of the team lost their wickets cheaply with Grey Pigeons ending at a competitive 191 for 6 in 20 overs. Hatim Aqeel took 2 wickets for his side with the rest of the side chipping in to try and pull back the opposition after an impressive start.

In response, White Eagles simply fell apart with their top order crumbling. Opener Mansoor Halai chipped in with 10 runs but 6 of the subsequent batsmen were dismissed in single digits. Shabbir Patel's 25 and Muhammad Mustafa's 38 were the only saving grace for their side which was eventually bundled out for 119 in 18.2 overs. Ali Asgher's 3 wickets and Hussain Mustafa's 2 wickets were key in bringing down the chasing side.

Grey Pigeons won by 72 runs.
