White Eagles batted first and collapsed dramatically against Blue Hawks at the Clash of Birds BMSF tournament. The team lost opener Mansoor Halai cheaply for just 5 runs which was enough to spark the implosion. With the exception of Hussain Badruddin's fighting 23, the rest of the side were bamboozled by Murtaza Hussain. The Hawks bowlers was merciless against the opposition, picking up 5 wickets and giving nothing away in his spell. He was also involved in a run out. White Eagles were dismissed for a low 74 in 12.4 overs.
In response, with the momentum on their side, it was always going to be an easy chase for Hawks. Ibrahim, Hussain and Murtaza all chipped in with cameos of 16, 22 and 17 at the top as Blue Hawks chased down the target in 8.2 overs. Ali Asghar took 2 wickets and a catch but had too little a total to defend.
Blue Hawks won convincingly by 7 wickets.
