Grey Pigeons and Yellow Penguins went head to head at the semi final of the Clash of Birds (BMSF) tournament with Ali Rainbow turning up for his side. With Pigeons batting first, the star opener smashed an impressive 113 off just 54 balls including 14 boundaries and 6 sixes. Sitamu on the other hand continued to pick wickets on the other end but Ali's century had done the damage. Cameos of 23 by Hussain Lane and 14 by Mustafa boosted Pigeons to 190 for 6 in 20 overs. Muhammad Sitamu was sensational with the ball picking up 4 wickets in his spell while Saifuddin picked up a couple.
In response, Penguins were never really in the chase, losing wickets consistently, outdone by a fantastic display of bowling by Grey Pigeons. Ali Asghar Godhrawala picked up 3 wickets while Murtaza, Abbas Qasim and Ali Akbar picked up 2 wickets each. Yellow Penguins were bowled out for a low 86 in just 14.3 overs.
Grey Pigeons won by 104 runs and are through to the final.
