Suleman Textile Stallions batted first against Khas Stars with opener Abdul Aziz being dismissed for duck! The team however managed to recover after that with Rameez Mehboob contributing 39 and Rab Nawaz's 24 and Muzammil Chaipi's 45 adding to the target. The team however did not really take off at any stage with Stars bowlers keeping things tight. Khurram Wahab (who we learned later was having the game of his life!) gave only 13 runs away in his spell. Ali Aslam and Farrukh Jawaid took 2 wickets each and continued to falter the flow of runs. Stallions eventually ended at a modest 141 for 7 in 20 overs.
In response, Khas Stars opener Khurram Wahab stole the show! The centurion knocked 108 runs off just 52 balls including 8 boundaries and 8 sixes to blow away the opposition. Minor cameos of 15 and 14 by Abdul Basit and Uzair Aslam helped Khas Stars to a comfortable victory 14.5 overs. Stallions bowlers were helpless against the onslaught.
