Suleman Textile Stallions batted first against Khas Stars losing opener Rab Nawaz cheaply for just 2 runs along with his partner Abdul Aziz who was dismissed for just 12 runs. The team recovered well after that with Rameez's 25, Taha's valuable 35 and Shehzad Suleman's 32 helping to stabilize the innings. Stars bowlers did well to pick wickets early on with Ali Aslam starring with the ball, picking up 3 wickets in his spell. Ahmed and Saad also took 2 wickets each but Suleman's batsmen had put up a good fight ending at a defendable 164 for 8 in 20 overs.
In response, Khas Stars just couldn't get going in the chase! Only Noman's 33 and Sadiq's 26 showed any sign of intent while the rest of the unit threw away their wickets cheaply. Shahid Hussain was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets while Salman Dossani picked up a couple but it took an all round disciplined performance by their bowlers to defend the target. Khas batsmen just simply didn't click at any stage and eventually fell short, scoring only 121 for 9 in 20 overs.
Suleman Textile Stallions won by 43 runs and are through to the final!
