Hiba Builders Thunders batted first against Rims Lions and were reeling after losing their top 3 batsmen cheaply. The team however recovered well after that with Adeel Sabuwala taking charge. His sensational 61 under pressure came off just 41 balls including 6 boundaries and 2 maximums. Osama Ayub kept things going on the other end with a handy 31 as Hiba Builders were able to reach a respectable 143 for 5 in 20 overs. Rabish Ahmed was the key wicket taker for his side with 2 scalps.
In response, an in-form Rabish Ahmed was simply unstoppable. The opener and all round sensation knocked 84 runs at the top to singlehandedly carve a victory for his side. Saad Faisal also contributed a cameo of 25 as Rims Lions chased down the target in 16.1 overs. Osama Ayub took 2 wickets for his side in vain.
